Migration from the IMail™ to CommuniGate® Pro

The IMailToCGP utility creates a tab-delimited text file based on the information in the IMail account database. This tab-delimited file can be used to create accounts on your CommuniGate Pro server, using its Account Import feature.

The IMailToCGP utility should be used on the same computer where the IMail software is installed (the IMail is not required to be running).

MS Windows® instructions

1. Unpack the IMailToCGP-Win32-Intel.zip file.
   
2. Start the setup.exe program from the unpacked archive.
3. Start the IMailToCGP-Win32-Intel.exe program.This program will create the import.txt tab-delimited file with the IMail account information.
4. Use the CommuniGate Pro WebAdmin Account Import feature to create all accounts on your new server using the import.txt file.
